Dr De Rydt Dirk graduated in 1988 as a general physician and decided to specialize further in orthopedic surgery/traumatology. For this 6-year training he had to do an internship in various hospitals and he obtained his doctorate with flying colors in 1994. He is very passionate about continuing to attend conferences both at home and abroad to keep abreast of the very latest developments to be able to treat his patients as well as possible. He is a member of BVOT and AAOS.

As an Orthopedist, he operates in the modern top hospital Delta Chirec in Brussels, and treats patients in Dutch, French or English.

I am a board-certified specialist in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery since 2022 and hold an additional qualification in Emergency Medicine.

I studied medicine at Heidelberg University (Ruprecht-Karls University, Germany), where I also completed my specialist training at renowned institutions, including ATOS Clinic Heidelberg and BG Klinik Ludwigshafen. In 2025, I obtained my accreditation with the Belgian National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI/RIZIV).
